Use of the other gates (Queningate in Broad Street, Mint Yard Gate in The Borough and Postern Gate in Burgate) for entry and exit is for passholders only. The signed exit is via the shop leading onto Burgate though ticket holders can also leave via Christ Church Gate.

The great abbey gate (c. 1300) remains standing. Also notable is the Canterbury Heritage Museum, which is housed in a 13th-century hospital. Some of the houses of the Huguenot refugees still stand along the Stour.
